Tourists and travellers catch the sights of Nyhavn and Amalienborg, but what are they really looking at? More than just a row of colourful bars and a cute little castle. You can also see signs of slavery and sugar, spelling errors and sham. Military men, marble, medicine. Experience the transformation of a nice backdrop of a posh part of town to a liveable real city on this tour going to and from Nyhavn.

With your back to the memorial anchor this is your view. Please notice a long straight road, Gothersgade, Copenhagens first non-crooked street.

This (flexible) tour does not have a theme other than architecture, history and the Frederiksstad so there’s no morale or offensiveness – though I do have opinions about what we’re seeing. There is no fact sheet or hand out after the tour due to its less sharply angled theme.
