Meeting point

The American professor in sociology Phil Zuckerman visited Denmark to study one of the most Godless societies on Earth. He wrote the book “Society without God” in 2008 but even long before that the Dane were not exactly zealots. The Danes were Christians all right, though more the devout might quote Revelations 3:16 “So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.”

Many Danes are members of the Danish state church and believers but rather undogmatic and this was also the norm before. Come along and see the evidence for the Danes’ very relaxed attitude toward their religion.

The tour is about adding nuance to the picture of the past as a very God fearing time and might interest both atheists and believers.
